Reflection on the process of blogging

At the beginning I've thinked that blogging was just a way of wasting my time. The first question that popped in my mind was:will this blogging thing help me with my studies and career.? So the time went by. Two days later I started with my new blogging and what i realised is that its a important thing for a teacherbecause you can live your dream out on your blogging and can have friends circles around the world.

is it necessary to integrate social media in the classroom? How can I use forums like blogs, facebook, twitter etc. to be a better teacher?

Yes. Every child is on social media nowadays. Technology is taking the world over . Technology is being used in classrooms already today.So social media can also be used in the classroom, and I think the learners will find it interesting because not everyone wants to give their opinion in the classroom infront of everyone. There are learners who are great at writing. So I think it will be a good thing if the teacher can communicate with the learners about homework or work during the day or to give them tasks that will be done in class the next day.

How did teaching practice change my idea of how I see myself as a teacher?

Teaching practice gave me the reality feedback of being a teacher. Some of the major tasks was to learn from the teachers and it works to gain order in your classroom. Every student has his or her own weak and strong points. Teaching Practice is their for students to help them with different classroom situations.

Teaching Practice changed my idea of being a teacher. Teaching Practice isn't about to learn the learners new work tt is about the skill to make the learns think and communicate even if they don't want to.

Why I want to be a teacher and the characteristics of a "good" teacher. Do you think you will be a "good" teacher?

I thinks a teacker plays a very important role in a community and in a childs life. I want to help others in order to fulfill their dream and make them knowlegdeable to reach their goals in life. I want to learn learners and students with my passion so that they can develop and help building a better South Africa for all of us because they are the next educators and doctors.

The characteristics of a "good" teacher

• Must have a passion for education.
• Must be motivated.
• An educator must be well-organised.
• Must be able to inspire others through the work.
• Must be very productive.
• Must lead by example.
• The teacher must be obedient and true.
• Good communication skills.

Yes, I think I will be a good teacher. I have a passion to help help other and I have good communication skills. I want to reach out to those who need help and guide them with my knowledge through their school career.

I am Cameron Francois Michaels and I'm 19 years old. I was born on 06 February 1996 in Riversdale in the Western Cape. I live in Heidelberg with my family. I'm a christian and I'm attending the New Apostolic Church. I'm currently busy with my studies.
